Terms and conditions.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a retreat with Retreats by Noctua ("the Company"). By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Bookings and Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit of £300 is required to secure your place on a retreat.

  • Full payment for the retreat must be received no later than 90 days before the retreat start date. Failure to make full payment on time may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.

  • All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as otherwise provided in these terms.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • The Company does not offer cancellations or refunds for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, personal emergencies, or changes in travel plans. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

3. Travel Insurance

  • It is mandatory for all participants to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal liability for the duration of the retreat. Proof of insurance may be required before the retreat commences.

4. Health and Fitness

  • You must be in good physical and mental health to participate in the retreat activities. It is your responsibility to inform the Company of any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns before booking.

  • The Company reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit to participate due to health or safety reasons.

5. Liability

  • The Company is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the retreat, except where such injury, loss, or damage is caused by the negligence of the Company. You participate in all activities at your own risk.

  • The Company is not responsible for any additional costs incurred due to travel delays, cancellations, or other unforeseen circumstances.

6. Changes to Itinerary

  • The Company reserves the right to modify the retreat itinerary or accommodation due to unforeseen circumstances or situations beyond its control.

  • In the event of significant changes, the Company will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives.

7. Code of Conduct

  • All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, staff, and local communities.

  • The Company reserves the right to remove any participant from the retreat for disruptive or inappropriate behavior without refund.

8. Force Majeure

  • The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions if such delay or failure is caused by a Force Majeure Event. A "Force Majeure Event" means any event beyond the Company's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, or industrial disputes.

  • In the event of a Force Majeure Event, the Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the retreat or offer alternative arrangements. If this is not possible, the Company may cancel the retreat and will refund any payments made by the participant, less any non-refundable deposits.

9. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10. Acceptance of Terms

  • By making a booking with the Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
